When you make a reservation on our site, we are required to collect some of your personal data. This includes your name, first name, postal address, email address, telephone number and information about your pet.
We also collect data related to your transaction, including the amount of the reservation (paid in full online) and payment information.
If you write to us through the Contact page, we keep your name, your e-mail address, your phone number if you give it and your message, only to reply to you. If you subscribe to our news, we keep your e-mail address to send it to you: every e-mail contains a link to unsubscribe, and your address is then deleted.
2. Use of Data
The personal data we collect is used solely for the purposes of your reservation and the management of our Sweetnest hotel. It allows us in particular to contact you if necessary, to prepare as well as possible the stay of your animal and to manage the payments.
We do not share your personal data with third parties, except in cases provided for by law or if this is necessary for the proper performance of our services (for example, with our online payment provider).
3. Site assistant
The « Une question ? » bubble answers your questions from the pages of our site. To write its answer, your question and the useful passages of our pages are sent to Google (Gemini service). Before that, any e-mail address or phone number you may have written is masked. Your IP address and your other data are never sent.
Sweetnest keeps the questions asked, masked in the same way, for 90 days, to improve the answers. Nothing tells who asked them. The conversation itself stays in your browser and disappears when you close the tab. Please do not write any personal data in the bubble: for a booking or a special request, use the Contact page.
4. Data Security
We implement all the technical and organizational measures necessary to ensure the security and confidentiality of your personal data. They are stored on secure servers and only authorized persons within our Sweetnest hotel can access them.
5. Access, Rectification and Deletion Rights
In accordance with current legislation, you have the right to access, rectify and delete your personal data. You can exercise these rights by contacting us at the email or postal address indicated on our site.
6. Cookies
Our site uses no advertising or audience-measurement cookies. It only sets two technical cookies: one remembers the language you chose, the other keeps your booking in progress while you fill it in. Our visit counter sets no cookie and does not record your IP address.
7. Modification of the Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time. The changes made will take effect upon their publication on our site.
